36 Inch Electric Cooktop with 5 Radiant Elements
Under the sleek, glass surface of this 36" GE electric cooktop are five (5) radiant ribbon burners that offer a lot of versatility for different methods of cooking. The center burner has a maximum output of 2,700 watts which is perfect for rapid boiling. It can also alternate between a 12" cooking diameter or a 9" cooking diameter. The left front burner can switch between an 8" cooking diameter and a 5" cooking diameter. The right front burner is great for rapid boiling, just like the center burner. At 8" in diameter and with 2,500 watts of cooking power, set a large pot of water to boiling for pasta, and have the remaining burners to cook items that require more attention.
The infinite switch knobs add a nice accent to the cooktop's smoothtop surface. One knob is a control lock setting as a safeguard against children accidentally turning on a burner. Red lighting indicates when the burners are hot for added safety.
